Bluff women attacked in Tara Road

A Bluff resident was attacked in Tara road in broad
daylight yesterday (Monday public holiday) The residents
husband sent me this!

My wife has just been attacked in Tara road opposite
club road turning. 3 foreign dark blacks late 20's early
30's with slight dreadlocks one with red and white shirt
on. they were sitting against the wall of a house on
Andora rd side of Tara rd. all three got up and walked
towards her while she was walking from checkers side
and one grabbed her and started to pull her towards the
bush on club road side she screamed at him and
punched him in the throat-a car was coming and they ran
off into club road--this happened about 45mins ago pass
this on.

It’s an absolute outrage that residents can’t even walk
along Tara road during the day; I dread to think of what
might have happened had they succeeded in getting the
women into the bush. If they had just wanted to steal her
belongings, they would have snatched it and run, the fact
that they tried to drag her into the bush tells you that
they had other ideas in mind.

I think its time, time to get together again like we did for
the beaches and do the same for the entire Bluff.

The police cannot be everywhere all the time.

There are enough residents on the Bluff to support this
and the security companies on the Bluff want to get
involved.

In short, we have to have the Bluff patrolled by security
companies AND residents.

We have to start rolling out the street patrol plan and we
have to start doing it now. Let’s not wait for someone to
be attacked and injured or worse!

To the residents in the streets that have indicated that
they would like to get street patrols up and running,
contact me, let’s set up a meeting in your road and get it
going.

To the residents of the Bluff that receive my emails, I
need your help. We need to get more people involved.
Please pass this email onto everyone you know and ask
them t join our data base, spread the word, talk to people
and get their email addresses for me. The only way we
are going to be able to secure the entire Bluff is to get
the entire Bluff involved.
